She moved to Texas sixteen years ago, and now resides with her husband and two children in a northern suburb of Houston. Tonya has enjoyed competing in numerous contests all over, and has been teaching private lessons in Texas for many years. She has also been an instructor at a number of different fiddle camps, and has started performing with her sisters on a regular basis.
