The Kaitlin Kenney Memorial Fund was established in January 2013 to provide fiddle workshops, music lessons and instruments to underserved children in the Denver metro area.
In support of the community outreach program, COTFA established a collaboration with the El Sistema music program to provide fiddle workshops, fiddle lesson, and instruments. This is funded through the Kaitlin Kenney Memorial Fund. This supports COTFA’s mission to promote, enlighten and preserve the cultural tradition of old-time fiddling through education and entertainment of this historic American musical art form.
