Dennis Ludiker started playing music at age three. His grandfather, Lloyd Warner, bought him his first 1/16 size fiddle. He started on guitar a couple years later, and eventually added the mandolin, bass, piano, and about anything with strings. He is a past Washington State Champion and the 2002 Winfield Open Champion. He has also won the ’08 and ’09 Texas State Championship at the Fiddlers Frolics in Hallettsville, Texas, and has the 2010 World Champion title. He toured the U.S. and Europe extensively with the South Austin Jug Band out of Austin, Texas, from Fall ’02 through January ’09. He currently is playing mandolin and fiddle with the Progressive—Acoustic band Milkdrive.
