Katrina Pearce 2005

Katrina Pearce 2005

Katrina Pearce is from Boise, Idaho. She is 21 years old. Her mother, Roberta Pearce, was her primary fiddle teacher up until the age of twelve. Katrina then studied under Tony Ludiker and Dick and Lisa Barrett. Katrina also traveled to several different fiddle camps, including Mark O’Connor’s Fiddle Camp in Nashville, Tennessee. She entered her first contest at the ripe old age of two-and-a-half years. At the age of three, she entered the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest. She is now a three-time national champion.

Katrina attended Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, for three years, majoring in violin performance. Katrina currently teaches private lessons to over thirty-fiv students.
