Kimber Ludiker is a fourth-generation fiddler who started playing at the age of three. With twenty years’ experience, now at the age of twenty-three, she has developed a strong love of Texas-Style fiddling and other styles, and an even stronger desire to pass down the tradition of this music. Kimber is a three-time North-West Regional Champion, a two-time Colorado State Champion, and a National Junior Fiddle Champion. She has consistently placed as a finalist in both the Grand National and Grand Master Fiddle Competitions.
Now a full-time musician in Boston, Massachusetts, Kimber also tours substantially as a fiddle player with An Dochas, a West coast-based Celtic band, and Michael Londra (previously of Broadway’s Riverdance). She has also been invited on stage with musicians such as Darol Anger and Mike Marshall, Hanneke Cassel, Sara Watkins, and Laurie Lewis. Check out local projects the Broken Blossoms and the Charred Angels (Boston’s one-and-only honky tonk band)!
