The place for Fiddling in Colorado

Annie Savage

Annie Savage

Annie Savage (M.M.Ed) is an enthusiastic instructor and performer who believes that the art of music is most thoroughly enjoyed when shared with others. As a prize winning contest fiddler from the age of 8, Savage has performed in various projects, including stage performances with Aretha Franklin, Ricky Skaggs, Asleep at the Wheel and as a founding member of Jeff Scroggins and Colorado. She teaches using a combination of Suzuki and her own publication, the Savage Fiddler Method. This prepares students for playing contests, jamming with others and excelling in their own public school orchestra programs in addition to working with their own needs and desires.Annie holds degrees from the Interlochen Arts Academy and the Boston Conservatory/Berklee School of Music, serves as the president of the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society and is a certified Wernick Method teacher.

Annie lives in Lafayette, CO with her husband and three children.
